Jason Mraz, Duck tours and whatnot

Hello hello...
So this weekend marked two Jason Mraz concerts in two weeks. As I wrote last week I saw him play at our school for a concert, which was amazing, but his concert at the Orpheum was far superior. He played a two hour set, and was absolutely unbelievably fantastic. I am such a big fan of his music, and his concert was such a great mix of his well known music and better unknown stuff. I sat front row, but we were so far to the right that I couldn't really see him, so I ended up sitting on the ledge of the booth I was sitting in and seeing the show perfectly!! I was even more happy to see that, when I bought his tour shirt, that his merchandise is all made with solar and wind power and are earth friendly, making me love him even more, if possible. :)

To continue the fun this weekend, I worked for family weekend giving Duck tours! For those not familiar, Duck tours are given on old WWII vehicles called D.U.K.W. and you drive around historic Boston and learn a ton of neat things. For Instance, did you know in the early 1900's that there was a large molasses spill, creating a wave of molasses to cause several deaths and injury's in Boston's North End? I do now! Whit and I got to ride on the same Ducks both days and learn about some really cool things that neither of us knew before. If you are coming to visit Suffolk, or just coming to Boston, I would suggest going on a Duck tour... if you are lucky you can drive the tour through the Charles River!

and for whatnot... hummm.... not too much going on right now, midterms, final projects to start working on and more adventures to be had. I am looking forward to this weekends Students with Students information session... maybe I will see you there!

Peace, love and happiness til next blog. hope you all have a great week.
